Veldrin is a drow with a singular focus, vengeance for the murder of his elder brother. He’s had the patience of a saint as he’s trained and tracked the murderer, but his patience is wearing thin.
Veldrin Cormrael is a drow who fled the underground city of Menzoberranzan in his youth, seeking refuge from the cruelty and violence inflicted on him by his own mother. For a time, it seemed as though he had found a chance at peace, a life beyond the dark and brutality of family. But his fleeting hope was shattered when his elder brother, Caspian, was brutally slain in cold blood. Consumed by the need for vengeance, Veldrin will stop at nothing to track down the one responsible, his quest for retribution becoming a near all-consuming obsession. Years have passed and he's honed his skills, yet every time she seems within reach, she slips away.

Whatever Veldrin was before, the version of him that exists now was made by Eldrana, by the choice she made that killed Caspian and by the choice Veldrin made in the aftermath, which was to spend however long it takes making it matter. He doesn’t talk about Caspian. He doesn’t talk about much.
