Overview
Daemon Dannato is a tiefling rogue working the streets of Baldur’s Gate’s Lower City, charming, flirtatious, and about three bad decisions away from real trouble at any given moment. He’s the kind of person who’ll buy you a drink, pick your pocket, and genuinely like you all at once. His friends are his world, and he’d do anything for them, as long as it doesn’t involve too much commitment or a spider.

The Lower City
Orphaned before he was four, Daemon grew up on the streets of Baldur’s Gate with a ragtag group of children nobody else wanted. They stole to eat, ran scams to survive, and looked out for each other when no one else would. He has no family name and no real inheritance. He picked ‘Dannato’ because it sounded good, and nobody’s told him otherwise. He can read and write, which surprises people more than it should.

He still shares a home with the friends he grew up with, and together they run petty scams: pickpocketing drunks, selling fake jewellery, liberating coin from merchants who won’t miss it. He’s been circling the idea of joining the Nine Fingers guild for months, not sure if that’s ambition or just the next step down a road he’s already on. He plays panflute badly, drinks well, and has very strong opinions about gnomes.
