About Earth X-653

Technically it’s designated X-653 in the multiverse catalogue. Practically, it’s just Earth - except superpowers are real, documented, and very much someone’s problem. Mutations and abilities exist as an open fact of life here, which means politics, law enforcement, medicine, and daily existence have all had to quietly reorganise themselves around people who can, say, level a city block. Some of those people wear capes. A lot of them don’t. Not all of them are what you’d call heroes, either - and that’s where it gets interesting.
